The first time I use my Heritage Edition stand mixer I was making a cake after 7 minutes beating the butter with sugar its started to smoke I thought this was normal since it was new, then after 7 more minutes it got very hot and the bowl stoped turning, I had to use my hand mixer to finish my cake after baking it, it was ruined how sad. Its been a year now that I have the Sunbeam stand mixer & its still getting very hot. The sad thing is that I make cakes for a living and after one batter the machine still gets hot and the bowl stops turning.
