2 years ago my children gave me a kitchenaid for Christmas. You haven't lived until you have one!!!! Everything is so much easier to do with this appliance. Set it and let it mix. After my wonderful experience with this I decided to get my daughter and daughter in law each one for Christmas. They were excited beyond belief and can't wait to start using them. They both have young children that will grow up with them, hopefully the children will realize how important this appliance is when they grow up after using it during their growing up years.
