As a retired home economist and having used many mixers, I can honestly say this is a joy to use. I haven't made cakes in a long time because it just seemed too laborious and I don't care for those in a box. This takes all of the labor out and is no more trouble than a box mix. But, the results are very rewarding and remind me of those I enjoyed as a child. I have also made whole wheat noodles and nothing could be easier or less expensive.
