This is a nice mixer for the price. I am not comparing it to my KitchenAid stand mixer of course. But to a comparably priced hand mixer (which this one can be used as also) this has many advantages - most importantly that you don't have to hold it. The bowl is a bit small, and it is a bit underpowered with just 200 watts, but for non-serious cooks, college kids and such, it's handy, well made and a good brand.
