Buy Cuisinart SM-55BC 5-1/2-Quart 12-Speed Stand Mixer, Brushed Chrome

I was close to buying the KitchenAid brand, but after a lot of research, I bought this CuisinArt, as it has much better ratings (check out Consumer Reports). The warranty is much better too. The mixer is very sturdy and heavy, you can turn it on and you don't need to hold it - it does not wobble. The attachments are metallic, which is a plus, considering the other brands have plastic attachments. It also has a timer and a "Fold" option button.
